This is a very pretty picture in a lovely condition depicting a quiet country scene of a village in Derbyshire, England.
The material used looks like oil but could be acrylic, however this painting is painted on board and the frame is in a good condition, unglazed. Signed and dated by the artist.

The scene rendered is one of quaintness, reflection and quiet and heralds back to a bygone age of the simpler life. Painted in muted, warm tones and with a technique of small brushstrokes.
